A few weeks ago I got home from work on Friday and didn't have anything planned all weekend so I asked my kids if they wanted to go camping for quick overnight trip to scout some possible mountain locations for my Dancing with the Stars series, and my daughter was the only one who wanted to go.
I found a couple really promising locations that I hope to return to in the coming months with some dancers.
In the meantime here's a couple photos of the views to the north and south of where we camped.
My daughter said she'd only go if she could sleep on the platform that I set up in my car so I slept just on the seats that folded down and it was the most uncomfortable night I've had in a long time.
