I did a rewatch of fargo season 2. I like the fargo serie and movie. the UFO's in season 2 was a big surprise.
the first episode show the young gerhard son being run down because he got distrated by the ufo.
then in episode 4 the ronald reagan movie moonbase freedom is shown when the leading gerhard member say to his son in the cinema that he should do like the heads in easter island and be silent.
Also in episode 4 the indian that is with the gerhards investigates the crime scene from episode 1 and feels the UFO incident.
In episode 5 the mom and wife of the lead detective finds drawings of her daughter.
In episode 7 the father in law to the lead detective is also into UFO's. What a family!
Finally in episode 9 the major UFO incident happens. But do not do much. The present of the UFO helps the lead detective and ends badly for the gerhards again.
What it all means is difficult to say but I like to think that back in the world war times there really was alot of thing flying around. much more than now. report of flying saucers in the second world war is something real and since the gerhards (germans) was the enemy of the ufo's. the controllers of the ships. whoever they might be. Maybe russians :-) could the show really be saying that the germans lost the war because of the ufo's
