A wander around English gardens between Killara and Lindfield : July 5 2026
It is another grey day. Best spent writing up investing stuff. Got the week before post done and put a dent in the current week. The tax stuff is lurking in the background. Got a feeling there is a lot of work on incomplete records.
Headed out for an umbrella walk past the two Killara tennis clubs to next suburb down. Someone is feeding the cockatoos on the block over

A grand old Killara house with magnolias flowwring in the front garden. Note the gargoyles on the roof line - they have been there a while. Hard to tell as it is becoming common these days too - the Chinese buyers use them to ward off spirits. Add after purchase
The house had a garden bed running all along the front wall with a range of flowers
Some I know - a few quite different peonies
And some are unknown - seen but not IDed

Daffodil thinks the first week of July is spring. Walk plan was to get a few things from the markets shop. Caught the train back
