A different day - took my wife shopping. Normally she would do trips like this on her own or with a friend. No can do as she is still not driving. Did the shops and stopped at Two Figs Winery to pick up the quarterly wine pack plus a few bottles

Unloaded the shopping. Had some lunch and dropped my wife off at the pub. She wanted to listen to some music - our village receptionist sings in a band. I chose to walk Comerong Island for a couple of hours. Fab reflections along the river mouth. Walk crosses the sand of the closed river mouth and onto the island

Was hoping to find one greenhood flowering - maybe a spike forming - guessing it is more likely another leaf

Too bad it is a 30 minute walk from where I park the bike and then 15 to the orchids. Still quicker than driving around and paying the $10 ferry fee. Time to think E-fatbike - smash those 40 minutes into 10

Listened to Priscilla over a deserved walk beer - my wife and her friend had really enjoyed the gig. I did not miss much as I could hear the music all the way to the island - probably a km away
Our friend came over for drinks - brought the dog over. Lucy loves and orange squeaky ball we have - lots of fun
Did cook a simple sausage BBQ for dinner - been a while
