A nowhere day - camellias and azaleas - Mother's Day lined up : May 9 2026
Had a few big days. Time to take things a little easier. Plan for the day was for my wife's son to visit for a day early Mother's Day. Walked to shops to get in a few things for lunch
Did buy the flowers. A bit of a story. Saw the flowers in the supermarket. Decided ti support the small business. Did the shopping and stopped into the flower show outside. Their board said Support Our Small Business. I did. Best part is as I walked out the centre man asks me "Where did you get those flowers?" I told him
Day did not go plan - my wife's son is sick - no visit from her grandson. Disappointing as she needs a bit of light to get through her broken foot story
I walked around late afternoon to see if I could recruit tennis players to play pickle ball - flower photos from the walk - plumbago

Chatted a while with the tennis players - need to get down earlier next week to hook the pickle ball players. Pat said he would send a message to see who wanted to play midweek.
Got to say it is good to get connected to local people. Did not play tennis but we had a good chat
Frittered around some horse racing bets - mad a bit - lost a bit.
Cooked a late sauasge burger dish for my dinner - was yum
