We all know whales shits are full of nutrients for planktons and algae, but we never see trails of planktons and algae following the trails of shit from whales in the natural environments. whereas when a whale dies, its carcass actually can feed up a whole community of organism in the sea bed.
Now there is a platform ecosystem that revolves way too much around whales, and we know even some whale's post are shit, but newbie still upvote cause of the curation or try to get the whales attention. This does not promote the grow of the platform as the taste of the platform ecosystem will be driven solely by the taste of the whales. whereas when whales die, their energy stored in the carcasses can be distributed to more individuals, will help promote people from different area to contribute post.
I know this might offend a lot of whales out there, but if the platform can't attract people from different fields, we can only expect to see whales powering down and the death of the whole ecosystem.
