On December 17, 2011 in my hometown, I received my degree as a professional of the Republic.

It has been 9 years now. And today when I remember it I feel the same emotion as that day.
It was a very moving day from early on.
At the beginning of the day I had to be at the hairdresser's. My friend and I had made an appointment with the stylist, who would do our make-up and hair.

After leaving the hairdresser's, I arrived home with my friend, and from there we went to the theatre where we received our degrees in Food Science and Culture.
A title that we obtained after studying for 4 years, in which we learned everything about food. Many people think that our profession is to be cooks, but it turns out that we are not. Our profession is quite versatile, we have the ability to know the microbiological process that a food goes through when it is industrially processed, its physical and chemical changes.
We evaluate the organoleptic characteristics.
And although we also have the ability to know how to cook, for two years we attend a course where we are taught how to prepare our own food and typical and international food, those dishes that are emblematic of other countries.

It was not easy, but with effort and dedication we achieved our goal.
My internship, like my friend's, was in an industrial juice processing industry.
I was in charge of doing the microbiological analysis so that the juice could be released with the established sanitary standards for human consumption, and my friend did the chemical analysis of the fruits and the finished juice.

Both my friend and I learned a lot from our colleagues in the industry.

My friend who turned out to be one of my best friends was always with me.

At university we made many friends.

After receiving my degree and my achievement medal, I went to celebrate with my friends. At home they couldn't celebrate my achievement with a party, but I received all the family support to get my fiancé.
I celebrated a lot that day, I went to a friend's house who was having a family party, then we went to the disco to dance, and we left there at dawn, and we wanted to continue celebrating haha, and we retired to the house of one of my friends and made a soup. I arrived home a day later.

Today I remember with longing that important date full of great moments.

And do you remember the day you received your degree as a professional?
