Cranioplasty is a technique that allows repair, correction or replacement of a skull area, which has suffered modifications due to various causes (accidental, congenital, etc.). Several materials are used to replace the affected area: titanium, stainless steel, biomaterials printed in 3D, the latter allows an exact replica of the area. Also in some cases the same bone fragment that has been removed may be used.
