Hello dear community, I hope you are super well!
Today I want to share with you the process of making a handmade turtle.
With 100% natural material such as coconut, for weeks I have wanted to venture into the world of crafts with wood, stones and other natural elements, I am pleased to be able to show them to you since it is something that I really enjoy doing and explain how I do it.
I was inspired by the hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), this species is very beautiful due to its anatomy and diverse colors, I hope you like it and enjoy this step by step.
Materials:
• Dry coconut.
Tools:
• Pencil and eraser.
• Hacksaw blade.
• Varnish and stain for wood.
•Dremel.

Materiales:
• Coco seco.
Herramientas:

Step 1
• We choose the size of the coconut according to our preference.
• We make sure to cut the coconut lengthwise.
• We sanded with coarse grain to be able to mark the lines that will form the parts of the turtle.

Paso 1

Step 2
• We cut following the established lines what would be the shell, the extremities and the head of the animal.
• We use the sandpaper gradually, from the coarsest grains we go to the middle one and finish with the fine sandpaper, in this last sanding we will try to get shine on the surface.
• Next we outline with pencil what will be the structure of the shell, the extremities and the head.

Paso 2
