In John 10:10, the Word says:
The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come to have life, and to have it in abundance.
The purpose of Christ's first coming to earth was to restore the life we had lost at the beginning of creation.
In the garden of Eden, both men and women enjoyed a glorious life in communion with God. They enjoyed a beautiful paradise, full of plants, flowers, rich fruits, the enchanting beauty of the animal kingdom. Man had dominion over creation and God always descended into the garden of Eden and spoke with Adam and Eve. Life was rich, full of peace, you breathed fresh air, you had bright springs and rivers where you could enjoy a pleasant recreational recreation. The beauty of nature was unique, the birds adorned the sky and nature was recreated with the trill of birds and fast animals that ran in a flock through the plains. Immense fruit trees in the garden as ornaments of the same nature.
At the beginning of life, there was nothing to worry about. God had provided everything for Adam and Eve to enjoy life to give.
You can imagine waking up every morning of the man and the woman, open your eyes and have everything for the enjoyment of the new day that began. There was nothing to worry about, just wait for the moment when God appeared to them in the garden to talk to them, guide them and advise them on the things they could do and what they could not do.
At first life was synonymous with joy, pleasure, peace, health, happiness, abundance, everything was full of joy.
However, the Word says that: "The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy."
These three fatal elements (steal, kill and destroy) are the principles of Satan's kingdom.
The enjoyment of the life that Adam and Eve led was threatened by the satanic ministry, who in their eagerness for jealousy and jealousy, began a process of deceit and falsehood, to steal the happiness that God had given man and woman. Satan stole the overflowing joy of the life of the first couple of human beings that God had created. He sowed the poison of lies to steal, kill and destroy the abundant life that Adam and Eve had received from God.
Life became a panorama of tragedy, death, destruction, disease, hunger, hatred, bitterness.
The man was contaminated in such a way that he let the deception fall into his heart, and because of all this, life was no longer a total enjoyment of what God had created, but now it was all death, darkness, fear, insecurity, regret and sadness
All the peace and abundance of joy had been lost since the beginning of creation, when man and woman stopped obeying the Word of life of God, to take the word of death and deception of Satan.
All this tragedy of defeat and destruction was what allowed God to design a plan to recover the life of creation and return to man the happiness he had given him from the beginning.
The Lord Jesus said: "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it in abundance."
In other words, Jesus came to undo the works of the devil and man will recover the true life and happiness he had at the beginning of creation.
Jesus came to return the joy, peace, love, justice and communion with God, which man had at the beginning.
The true and overflowing life that Jesus offers is received by faith and justice. In Christ we are justified for a new relationship with God, based on forgiveness and love. The new life in Christ is full of health and peace, centered on an eternal life, where darkness has no part.
Ours is to cling to eternal life and decide to maintain a new relationship and intimacy with God. Only in Christ can we enjoy a new life and an overflowing and joyful communion with God.
