Greetings and blessings. Welcome to my blog.

I share a new message based on personal experience about how simple life can lead or how complicated life can be for Christians. To get the correct answer, it is necessary to review what the Lord Jesus said to Martha when he visited her at home.

Jesus responding, said: Marta, Marta, worried and worried that you are with many things. But only one thing is necessary ....... (Luke 10: 41-42).

Jesus said that Marta was complicating her life with many things, which robbed her of the tranquility and joy of enjoying life. Doing many things at once is so difficult, so complex and so anxious that it takes away the inner peace of the soul.

Is life simple or complicated?

From what Jesus implies, Martha had a complicated life because she was struggling to do many things at once.

The complicated term means: "to make or become complex, complex or disconcerting" or "to twist or misrepresent" (Webster's Dictionary).

What the dictionary implies is that, if something is complicated, it is "difficult to understand."

Jesus was telling Marta that he was complicating life and was filling up with such complexity that he had been so disturbed and frustrated that there was nothing of joy and peace in his heart.

Friend reader, we should not complicate our lives with the many cares and the many activities we do during the day. The Christian must be at rest, must be full of peace and put all the burdens of his anxieties on Christ, for them we must seek the presence of God in prayer.
Jesus told Marta that it was necessary to do "one thing", however, Martha did many things at once. In other words, doing one thing implies that life must be carried out more smoothly and comfortably by doing one thing and not several at once.

The simple life, translates into doing only one thing, the most necessary.
The simple term means: "To have or be composed of a single thing or part", "not complex: easy" (Webster's Dictionary).

The Lord Jesus was very clear when he was teaching Martha if life was simple or complicated.
We should not make simple life a complicated life. For Jesus to do "what is necessary" was the most convenient thing to lead a simple life, full of peace, joy and full trust in God. Do the same, dear brother, do not complicate life and do only what is necessary to do and do not allow yourself to steal the joy of enjoying life in Christ Jesus.
