Staying in balance is healthy and helps not open the doors to the adversary. A balanced person enjoys self-control, is aware of their weaknesses, but recognizes that their strength comes from Christ. A balanced person takes care of his health, thoughts, emotions and actions. He recognizes that his personal balance is in the hands of God that helps him to be firm on the rock, which is Christ.

The balanced person takes care of his own image, never has a higher concept of himself than he should have. Be careful not to treat people with arrogance and avoid rejecting them. The balanced person accepts himself, without any complexity, recognizes that although he is not perfect, he is heading towards perfection.

The apostle Peter says it this way:

Be sober and look; because your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, is looking for whom to devour (1 Peter 5: 8).

Notice that it says that the devil seeks to devour those who are not sober. The term sober refers to a balanced person. Therefore, it is very important to maintain balance in all things.
The church demands that the believer be in an environment of balance, mutual respect and acceptance as it is. We must maintain balance in interpersonal relationships between brothers, without forgetting that if God created us it is because he loves us; and this same love is what God demands that we have among the brothers, to avoid differences and arrive at the disgusting error of criticism and mutual muttering.

The balanced person recognizes their failures and weaknesses, as well as their desire to change and improve these aspects. He recognizes that God is working daily in his life and is transforming him, day after day. The balanced person understands that his failures and weaknesses are not reasons to steal the joy of continuing to enjoy life, because he also understands that God works in it to perfect it.

The balanced person knows that he must work closely with God, when God shows him an area of weakness in his life. She says in her heart: "I must work with God to overcome my weaknesses." This helps you not to get discouraged and follows God's advice to minimize the failures and weaknesses God shows you.

If we learn to be sober in life and lead a balanced life, we will avoid everything possible, without giving rise to the enemy.
We always discover that the weak points in our lives are the most important points of attention that will strengthen us to improve our personality as Christians.
