A population census helps the planning of the country that performs it, it allows to project how it should be prepared from the social, economic and political point of view, hence its importance lies in doing it periodically, in Venezuela unfortunately it has not been done for quite some time because the rejection of its inhabitants in the last attempt in 2011 was overwhelming, the reason for the rejection in its large part according to many people was because the state wanted to know the assets that people owned to be able to expropriate them.
Excellent analysis @juanmolina
