Peace be upon you
I am a spiritual seeker, not associated with any cult, any creed or any religion, I am not governed by any doctrine, since in any of them, I can find what I can only find within myself. I am always in constant search to give meaning and purpose to my life, I seek to evolve in a conscious and human way.
With the coming and going of the day to day and with that need that every day grew in me, to find a meaning to my life, I opened myself to new ways of seeing my environment and experience my existence more consciously.
But what is a Guru?...A guru is a Sanskrit word for a teacher. Other people use the term "destroyer of darkness" and it is the term that has been imported from the East to our Western culture. In conclusion, a guru is a common person who makes you an expert in a subject through his experience.
Every day life shows me a guru, I am surrounded by them, my parents, my friends, the neighbor that I dislike, my partner etc, are these people that through their light and shadow come to show me what I must heal and what I must work on to improve myself... they are my mirror.
In my search for spirituality I had to learn the hard way that I had to integrate my lights and my shadows, to accept all that I am and how I am. And at this very moment I am in tune with the purest and most healing feeling which is love for myself, without selfishness, without prejudice. And it is here, at this point, where I understood that I am my own guru because among my successes and failures is the congruence between what I think, what I say and what I do and that is how I can help others to discover their own light.
We must develop our intuition, connect the mind with the heart and know how to listen to that inner voice, which will make us abundant in spirit and will make us discover that the Guru is ourselves....
