Great way for England to kick off the 6 Nations rugby tournament. In fact it has been a good weekend of rugby especially with such a dramatic end to Ireland's game yesterday!
Today's game in Rome ended Italy 15 - 46 England. After the first 15 minutes it looked as if England would run riot as Watson scored two early tries. But Italy stuck in there with a dogged display for the most part and were able to keep in touching distance at half time.
But England are too good right now to not be able to step it up another gear. It was a combination of good play from England and a tiring Italy towards the end of the match that allowed England to score 3 tries in the last 15 minutes.
Wales will be England's next opponent next weekend and this is already looking like it could be the match of the tournament! Wales demolished a poor Scotland team yesterday but England will be very different opponents! I am so looking forward to this next weekend, it's going to be intense!!
