The Rathaus in Bernkastel-Kues is probably one of the most cheerful looking Rathauses seen by me anywhere in Germany. Not a large or imposing building but certainly stands out with its colorful facade. Very nice architectural design with the center bay window supported on the column. Many lovely details like the statue of the Saviour - Salvatore Mundi and the coats of arms can be noted with a careful look. In the left corner there is a pillory of some sorts where "criminals" were exposed publicly.
