I usual try to pay abit of attention to what the mainstream media is saying. I realize that most of what they report is 'fake news'. Sometimes the news misleads people to believe something that is not true (for example in 2016 when the news would show pictures of Killary Clinton at a rally, the picture would include hundreds of people behind the speaker and the rational person would assume that since such a high concentration of people existed behind the speaker, then surely thousands of people were in attendance...no event organizers just made sure that many people sat behind her. So in some cases 'fake news' is misleading news.) But at other times the media downplays events, sometimes they over report certain information to make people think a major event has taken place.
But one thing that the media has taught me is that when the media starts looking like 'rockstars' then buyer beware. Like I said I try to somewhat pay attention to what the mainstream media is saying, and I try to sort of compare what the mainstream media reports with what actualy happened. For example we all know that when a tradgy first takes place then there is a high level of confusion so at first people might think that about a dozen people were injured by a 'gunman' but come to find out it was 30 people were injured when a stage collapsed and the poping sound was not gunshots it was the sound of the stage as it broke apart. Thats not fake news its just an honest mistake, but if there was a supposed eye witness that said that there was a plane crash and hundreds of people died, and come to find out that there was no plane rather it was a kite and only 1 person sustained minor injuries...then the hole plane crash story is what I would call fake news. But on a scale of 1 to 10 one being extremly bad and ten being extremely acurate then in my oppinion the mainstream news media avrages at about a 2 or 3. So when the main stream media gets ahold of a story and they are reporting facts that only the best journalist would get then I am going to raise my eyebrow. Like a few years ago there was a shooting and the news media told a story that was hard to believe and then to back up the story there was video footage that were at odd angles and somehow that news agency found incredibly rare video at a break neck speed and it made me ask 'how did they possibly put that story together?'
We are currently listening to main stream news outlets claim that they have inside information about the coronavirus. https://www.cnn.com/asia/live-news/coronavirus-outbreak-02-10-20-intl-hnk/index.html
Lets look at some facts that we know and then we will compare thoes facts against the reports that the main stream media is telling us. The country of china has about 1.4 billion souls living there. That means that for every 1 American that lives in the U.S.A. the country of China has about 3 Chinese people. Earlier I talked about how difficult it can be to wade through all of the information when a chaotic event takes place, of course the larger the situation is the more convoluted the initial facts. Well China has an are that covers 3.7 million square miles so the fact that cnn (which we know is not always honest) reports that they know exactly (if they would have said 100, thats a round figure but they said a percise number of 97 people died...in one day!) How could anyone pick a needle out of a giant haystack like china?
Issue #2 (which is what I realy want to look at) The country of China is a communistic nation. In communism if you step out of line then you are dead. I remember a guy telling me that he visited that country on a business trip (that was like 10 or 20 years ago) and the guy told me that when he would leave his hotel room and come back later, he said that drawers would be left open...maby the bed sheets had been unmade...and maby a door was left open, because the goverment is so paranoid that someone would be hiding information that would incriminate that country. I specificly remember the man saying to me 'that goverment does not even try to hide what they have done'. So if you think that the communistic goverment is working hard to be open and honest then you are wrong!
So I am a little more than convinced that if cnn has information about what is going on inside a communistic country then cnn must be somehow involved with communism. Many people are well aware that cnn and other fake news organizations are buddy buddy with the Democratic party. I think that when an organization that is supposed to be somewhat unbiasis they emerge as major financiers of one side...then they are no longer an objective party.
(as far as I know the more money that you give for a speech to be given then the more 'air time' you are given to advertise your product...in the above picture please look at the space that is ocupied behind the canidates)
So in a weird way the fake news outlets are verrifying (for me anyway) information that some people would say is a right wing conspearcy...like the following news article https://amac.us/democrats-allow-communists-to-infiltrate-their-party-across-the-nation/
When I was in college my main mentor taught me that 'as you go through life...never stop learning, and learn from everything!' I was taught the following Bible verse:
Romans 1:14
I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.
If I sit down to eat with people that have good tabel manners then I will learn how that I can impress people at the dinner tabel, but what can I learn if I eat with people that have bad tabel manners...I will learn what kinds of behavior that I should avoid at the tabel.
Fake news has helped to show me what behavior people find offensive, they have not shown me where I should run for saftey, rather they have shown me which areas that I should avoid.
