What is keeping people from downloading such an app? and what kind of 'websites' are available on the meshnet...for example does the avrage person have the ability to create some sort of profile page, would I be able to find a bread baker in the event that other means of communication went down?

By the way I am glad that you gave me the opportunity to ask some questions that I have! In the future I would like to help build a 'off grid communication network' that would be able to connect everybody in a town because when things go sideways I do not want to be waiting on a shipment of food that needs to travel 1,000 miles...it would be nice if all of the farmers around town could advertise what they have. Some people do not think about it but alot of problems stem from people not communicating.

Is a mesh net another name for any 'network'
