From what I understand, the common 'goldfish' is a baby 'carp fish'. I think that the fish will get as big as the container that it is allowed to grow in, so if you put a couple of goldfish in that pond in a couple of years the fish might be as big as your hand...also I think that thoes fish can be frozen then thaw out.
