Its another day, and as they say, another dollar. Its been a grind...
kinda like the grind, a coffee bean may encounter
Although thats the kinda grind, that theres no coming back from.
So i thought, let me get a coffee going to spice me up. To rev me up, like you start an old lawnmower. Its sometimes so ironic working at night and monitoring my study on patients. The irony is that im tired, sooo tired, watching another person sleep. Hearing them snore. Counting their awakenings. Counting how many leg movements they might have, or how many times their breathing gets a little weird.
And as i go on and on, my eyes get heavy. So i think about making this post, so i can help keep Hive buzzing (and of course looking to score some more Hive so i can keep growing).
So am i the man at the pond, or am i still just the duck?
well, maybe both i suppose
Ive been undergoing some mental and physical training, as ive come to a point that i realized that i need to change some behaviors if i want to be a better man. Or dare i say, a more attractive man. Improve my physicality, and to improve my Stoic stance (emotional frame). Been listening to some coach type guys on youtube. Im not one to believe everything that is said by another person but ive learned a lot and taking notes.
So the mission, is to improve, and to build myself.
For now though, work is good, thats part of my life, and i do enjoy my career at least, even if working nights kinda sucks.
So full circle back to making this Coffee.
It can be the worst coffee in the world but lets give it a whirl.
I tried some the old fashioned way from a drip style coffee maker, from grounds, made my someone eale at the time. I thought it was absolute crap, but it could partly be due to the way the person made it. Its cheap, and affordable, so of course the quality is not great.
Its what i have available here at the lab, thanks to one of favorite co workers so im grateful. Let er pour.
Its already just past 3am here, and im about to slam this coffee to pep me up, so i can finish my work and go home.
Cheers!
