Nothing to apologize for, we all have a life to deal with and the stories are fun to read ^^ I can't remember a game where there had been problems dividing the loot. An easy way to resolve it was to estimate the total worth and if one gets a big part of the loot one time it's just a smaller part of the cake next time.
