Totally agree! You can see many of these P2E titles pop up with interesting homepages featuring images and roadmaps and all this stuff you could buy in early before the game has even started. I think in most cases that only triggers the "fear of missing out" button not the "would love to play this" button. If it would cost a few bucks it would be ok in some cases to risk it but usually you have to pay a good amount of bucks in advance to get some NFT for a character, land or whatever in those kind of pre-sales.

As for the gameplay in many games that are already playable I ask myself: Would you play this if it was no P2E game? If the game is not really a game, then it's not really "play to earn" - I would rather call it BB2E - "being bored to earn" 😅
