Testing out Hyper Rail Blaster for the first time - my initial thoughts.

Good evening friends!

One of my goals for 2025 is going to be more support for all games across the Hive Blockchain :)

I want to play, write and enjoy these games... I want to explore new creations and try out different games.

I want to collect, support, reward, be rewarded but most of all... I want to #play2earn!!

I truly believe GameFi will come into its own as games put the accounts into the hands of the Players...

Well... ok then... let's look at todays installment - a peek at an upcoming #ArcadeColony Game:

Hyper Rail Blaster

Currently in Alpha Testing

Hyper Rail Blaster is reminiscent of Missile Defense combined with Galaga combined with Asteroids...

As the name suggests - you have a Blaster... mounted on a Train Cart... Sitting atop a Hyper Rail... Hence..................

Hyper Rail Blaster... Duh.

Anyways... back to the topic at hand... Hyper Rail Blaster...

I am acutely aware of my age - I am 40... and while blessed with many things, I must recognize that Time comes for us all... However, this nostalgic game was in fact a lot of fun :)

Despite how many times I died playing it 😑

The best part is - @arcadecolony is building out a suite of games on Invennium and Hive and a lot of them are reminiscent of what we had growing up :)

I tried a number of times and I am not certain if it was the Bourbon or the difficulty... but even though I made it to the Boss Level...

I just died a lot...

The cool thing is, HRB is still in Alpha... There aren't any Costs, Rewards, Penalties, etc... it is just a fun to play game for now...

However... once it hits the Arcade Colony... if you read the HRB Whitepaper you'll see they plan to support this simple game... with some crazy REWARDS!!

All in all... #HyperRailBlaster is a fun, stress reliever of a game... for now. With prizes on the line... who knows lol... I look forward to seeing more from HRB and #ArcadeColony!
