You're the "asshole" because you are doing what you see as "best" for "Hive"...

But when "small" accounts like me, do what they are told is best by others on Hive:

1. Buy Hive
2. Power Up
3. Write Good Content
4. Engage with communities
5. Grow your Vote and earnings...

So eventually when we post content that we spent hours writing... and someone (you) comes along to Downvote their post...

It seems like a personal attack because I personally don't give two fucks about the politics of Hive and BDvoter, Zaku or anyone else.

I was told "Hive is Social Media, where you can earn Crypto"...

Later I was told "But don't take any away or people will hate you"... and don't "self vote"...

Now it also seems "and don't attract the attention of certain voters because #politics"...

So while you may believe you are doing the right thing - and you might actually BE doing the right thing...

To the average small Hiver like me, who "follows Hive etiquette and routinely powers up Hive"... who shows up a couple times a week to write a post when they have time + a decent idea... only to see a chunk taken out by some guy who I have no clue who they are... suddenly downvoting a post "because reasons"...

I tend to think they're an asshole - and others probably do too.

This would be my guess.
