This is a wonderful proposal and I believe a win-win.

If we, the Splinterlands Community do no support the Blockchain we utilize... why should they support us?

"Because Splinterlands is the blah blah blah"... You know what that sounds like?

America.

And how do we look in other peoples eyes?

Investing in our native blockchain is brilliant and simple - and simple is often the most effective.

Further - I believe this will help encourage the Splinterlands players to be more active on Hive via Peak'd and other methods.

After a nice conversation with AZ, I bought and powered up $250 of Hive and plan to add to that regularly now. I see where we, the players, need to interact with Hive more than just playing Splinterlands if we hope to have good relations with the other Hive community members.

While I am still learning a lot about how to do that effectively... I took my first steps and believe this to be a great way for Splinterlands to take a BIG step in that direction.

BONUS: 1M Powered Up Hive will allow for greater upvote potential from Splinterlands to encourage their Players to participate on Hive as well - including on Power Up days :)

Great suggestion @lordbutterfly I will most certainly vote for this with my little but growing supply of HP!
