So................ funny story 😅

Back in the early-mid part of my Hive Journey, I was getting a very intermittent series of "Whale upvotes" due to "Contest Entries" and posting in Discord about it.

I was doing exactly what you were describing and the key frustration for me was "I am told on almost every post that "omg this is hilarious", "omg I love your writing style"... etc

But so much content went unnoticed. I couldn't figure it out. I couldn't figure out why some content generated very little attention and upvotes and some generated a lot...

My frustration grew as I read more and more sub-par work that seemed to garner these big upvotes and there really wasn't a clear "method" of getting their attention.

Eventually... I wrote that exact post you described. At(all those people).

That did not go well 😅

However, the silver lining was, in addition to the backlash and downvotes - I received a ton of constructive criticism.

I received a ton of useful advice. Help. Instructions. Suggestions.

This post is solid gold Alex, I hope it helps the people it reaches because the advice contained in these words most certainly helped me!
