We had a great time with Samantha and McKenzie during this mother/daughter photoshoot. They wanted something fun, a bit sassy, and relaxed so we choose a fun outdoor setting to stretch our legs, and get a little bit wet for some water fun.
Grindstone Nature area was the location of choice with 199 acres of land combining 2 creeks, wildflower prairie areas, bluffs, and miles of trails to explore. It's also a fantastic area to take pets as it is a leash-free area for dogs! It was a great go to place to do this photoshoot with Samantha and McKenzie.
We always feel fortunate to have cool locations like Grindstone to do these types of shoots. Having a location like this basically right outside our back door means we have easy access to a variety of styles/spots within the park to change it up if needed. Unfortunately, the lack of rain this year put a bit of a limit on the wild flowers, but as the seasons progress, we are sure to use this area again for upcoming photoshoots.
