Some days are quiet, golden, and just... perfect. Today was one of them: a beautiful sunset walk with my four-legged partner in crime, and a basket full of proof that our hens are living their absolute best life. Let's dive in! 👇
🌇 A golden hour stroll with Choko
Nothing beats ending the day with a walk when the sky decides to put on a show. Choko and I headed out along our favorite gravel road just as the sun was dipping behind the hills, painting everything in that impossible blend of blue and gold. He trotted ahead like he owns the place (he basically does), stopping every few meters to make sure I was keeping up. 🐾✨
Honestly, some of the best therapy sessions happen with zero words, one dog, and a sky full of color.
🥚 Meanwhile, back at the coop: EGG-cellent news!
While we were off admiring sunsets, our girls were hard at work doing what they do best: laying eggs like absolute champions! 🐔🏆
Look at this beauty of a basket: browns, whites, all different shapes and sizes, each one a little masterpiece. Our hens don't just live in the garden, they practically run the place — scratching around the flower beds, patrolling "their" territory (which, let's be honest, now includes half the farm), and generally acting like the true bosses of Ca' Paradiso. 👑
Happy hens, free to roam, eating well and living stress-free... turns out that's the actual secret recipe for amazing eggs. Who knew? (Everyone. Everyone knew. But it's still delightful to see it confirmed every single morning!) 😄

Happy hens + open garden + zero drama = a basket of pure gold every day.
At this point I'm starting to suspect the hens are secretly more productive than I am. They show up, do their job with total dedication, and never once complain about the weather. Absolute professionals. 🙌
