Tonight the moon is in a completely different position than it usually is at this time.
It’s 11:10pm, and, for every night over the past 12 years that I’ve come out my back door and turned to the left to take it’s picture, it’s been nestled between two large fir trees at about 1 o’clcock. Tonight it is blood orange, huge, and at about 11 o’clock. The orange is likely due to fires in Eastern WA and CA, but I cannot account for it’s position or size. It doesn’t make any sense.
