Today I'm gonna show you the how a terrace made in india (Houses and appartments) with the help of Reinforcement(Iron rods) cement concrete (RCC). Since many years This process of making terrace is using in india or in many countries. But before this the terrace were made of using stones but that process is now don't used for it..
So let's see how the workers work hard for us to provide us a long lasting terrace with the help of materials like:-
Like you can see the Cement packages. There are twenty(20) packages of cements. But there will be more of it used for making an mixture of that RCC.
So to prepare a mixture, first of all the workers tear the cement bag.After that, they put it in a tray. More than half of the cement comes in a pot.
Like you saw on this above picture.
After that, they take the same piece of gravel.
which they first sieve it through a sieve.And only after filtering,
they used gravel so that later it would not give trouble in making the roof.
After that they do the same process with the ballast but there is no need to filter them.
We already have a lot of ballast mines nearby, due to which we get this ballast very easily.
Here comes the machine in which This mixture is made.
In this machine all the things are put ballast, cement, gravel and water.There is some ratio of the workers that how many pieces of cement and everything else will be there, according to that they prepare the mixture. After adding all these things,
Afte that machine spins and mixes all the things properly and prepares it like a thick paste.
But before that process, about two days or a night before, they set them all like a structure from the balis and roof-setting plates, which they call the setting.
After settled down these plates they apply grease on the plates so that the Mixture won't be stick on the plates and after setting the roof the plates can be removed easily.
Like you can see those iron rods are settled on the roof setting plates like a network. Here Used the reinforcement in the form of iron rods.
Here comes the Mixture of RCC.
First they put it on the mould of beams then put it everywhere with the help of tools. For the smooth and plane surface.
