The funny thing is... I don't know if anyone hanging around on POB should really be complaining! I have read countless articles by people who were just peons on Hive who now are top grossing authors on POB.

Hold on, so because somebody has a small stake on HIVE they shouldn't voice their opinion because now they're doing well? Is the parallel then true? If someone has a large stake on HIVE, they can complain if they don't have any opportunities here on POB?

This sounds a lot like sucking it up and accepting that those with large stake know what they're talking about and "ahh, stop whining, you're making money".

Some people couldn't give two hoots about the monetary aspect. I know everyone throws around the line "let's be honest, if you are involved in crypto you are partly here for the money", but let's really be real, it can quite easily become a limiting mindset if you let the money consume you. Without the culture that has been fostered here on POB, it wouldn't be worth a lot. People stay powered up because of hope for long-term success, as soon as that is gone, the price goes through the floor. No BTC tokenomics will save that.

IMO. everyone on the fence always falls back on the mindset that "drama" is absolutely damaging and not needed. I disagree, I think it provides an opportunity for people to show their true colours and that is monumentally important when it comes to understanding where someone falls on the DPoS ladder.

I just mentioned earlier today in a comment that this whole HIVE DPoS game is just a case of tokens moving around within the ecosystem. There are very few real investors pumping money into this (compared to what's actually going on in crypto). So without any discourse, the similar mindsets of those with the air money (stake) will repeat tirelessly throughout the HIVE tribes. This is why the "peons on Hive who now are top grossing authors on POB" should voice their opinions and be encouraged to do so, otherwise, the same old archaic frames of mind who do not give the slightest fuck about Proof Of Brain (the concept), will continue to squeeze what value they can from the minted HIVE tokens every day (not saying anyone is a bad guy, but this is what greed produces, how much is "enough?").

The real winners will keep on encouraging the platform that we want to see. Great content, great curation, great rewards, a great place to invest.

"a great place to invest" is a pretty bold statement to make. There are far too many unknowns and concerns in the air for anyone with some actual bags to jump in. And I mean fiat, not HIVE tokens.

True, but not everyone is bound by the fallacy of "code is law" so maybe the rules themselves aren't what should be followed to the letter in the first place. I'd say the winners are the ones who manage to wipe the sleep from their eyes and discover the downsides, upsides, problems, successes, and go on living life with all of that attached to their toolbelt. Money can't buy that.
