Oh! Damn! You completely managed this! A well weighted story, the flows from start to finish, and remains positive all the way. There are a few translation hiccups, but I only noticed them rereading it a few times to comment. I love that you pick up the moment at the end of the first half and build it, adding that weight to the question of what is the costume. I love even more, that in your ending, what the costume was didn't really matter. It was the situation it created, allowing John insight he never would have got otherwise, a peek into the world of girls. I like the simplicity you have gone with, this isn't big or grand, this isn't a life changing moment, it might be but you don't sell it as that, you keep it small. A boy who hasn't had the courage to ask the girl he likes out, going through with something else potentially humiliating, and through that, he finds out if he can build up the courage to do what he really wanted, it will probably pay off, and it does. This is so sweet, and such a simple real feeling sweetness, I really enjoyed it!
