Was at Vegas since Sunday just got back today. Which is why I haven’t been active at all this week.

I love Vegas, the lights of all the casinos on the strip the sound of slot machines and people getting excited at the tables in the casino and everything else that goes with it. Sin City never sleeps and always has lots to do.
I had been going to Vegas usually during winter which gets pretty cold in the desert but this time around boy was it hot out there. The temperature was basically 115 degrees F the entire time and even when the sun would set it was still above 100 degrees.
I took my family this trip so we stayed at the family friendly hotel Mandalay Bay which has the most amazing pool area in all of Vegas imo. It has a big wave pool with sand just like the beach. It also has a lazy river and a couple of regular pools. They also have an amazing aquarium with 14 different exhibits with sharks and etc.

My boys loved the wave pool, they couldn’t get enough of it. I have a 11 yr old as well as a 5 and 3 year olds. The little ones were able to enjoy the wave pool as the front is only about a foot deep which gets a little deeper once the waves come but not much deeper.
If you plan on going to Vegas with the family I highly recommend this hotel. I got lucky and got 4 nights comped to me, I just had to pay the resort fees.
I went to Vegas this last January and took out a M Life rewards card which is a rewards card for all the MGM properties in Vegas and other locations. Which includes Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, and Aria plus a bunch of other hotels but I like those 3 properties most from all the MGM resorts. I had played a little bit and I guess had got enough rewards points to get a comp stay for 4 nights. Most comps are from Sundays to Thursday unless you are a high level member depending on how much you play.
During this last stay I was able to upgrade my rewards level from the basic starting level of Sapphire to the next level up to Pearl. The higher level you get more rewards you get.
When you get your card even if you didn’t play to much they will give you a comp the first time you go back and depending on how much you play from there on out you could get more comped rooms plus other rewards. They gave me $50 credit towards food and drinks and another $50 in freeplay on slots as extra rewards.
Was a fun getaway but on trips like these with kids you get more tired then you actually relax. Kids had a blast and that is all that matters to me end of the day.
