[#41822] Hey!! Single mom restarting in a new province - advice needed. Probably a long post - please read! I am looking to move to Calgary as soon as possible with my 18m old. I am a young single mom and will need help getting on my feet/with daycare. My question is, how long do I have to be in/a resident of AB to receive help with things like daycare assistance? The one thing postponing my move is not being sure how long I have to live there for before I can be helped. I am educated and skilled and have no worries about finding a job, also I am self-employed as a back up income. I just need to figure out daycare options as its double or more the price of where Im coming from (maritimes). Also any tips/advice on moving and rebuilding with just myself and my little one are welcomed! Ill be in the SW (Braeside) and open to meeting Mom friends too lol! TIA :)
