Aw this is sad news indeed. It is hard to travel and have no one to take care of the garden. That is why I always travel alone and my partner stays to take care of the pets and the plants. Or when he travels I do it. Hopefully in the future you can find a friendly neighbor who is happy to help, or possibly for a trade can take care of the garden when you are away.
