Good luck with the markets! and I loved seeing the video of your yard, I always enjoy viewing how other people organize their plants and life. I used to go to markets, more so to sell crafts and herbal remedies but I often did have a few potted plants of hard to find herbs here in Argentina like echinacea and yarrow. It is always funny to me that yarrow is hard to find here and relatively unknown for most people because it grows like crazy in my yard. Anyway, I like what you said about the market being a part of your social engagement. I think I need to see it that way because I never made a lot of money, in fact I usually spent more on snacks than I made but, it was how I met a few friends in the past. The trouble was I felt quite exposed to some of the foreigner-hate that some Argentines harbor (sadly) so since then I stick to my online shop and my circle of girlfriends who are very loving and supportive. Anyway, just sharing my random thoughts and looking forward to your next post!!
