Whenever KEY Model Management asks me to work with one of their New Faces, I jump on the chance! They have a great eye and they train their models very well.

Working with new models is both difficult and fun. Depending on the agency, some of them have already had "Photo Movement" training. In some cases, though, I am their very first experience in the modeling world, and I get to teach them how to move in front of the camera. But more on that in another post, as this was certainly not the case with Rachel!

Rachel had a little bit of experience and was on the fast-track to some international contracts. She was sent to me for some simple shots to freshen up her book.

We approached this shoot pretty casually. We brought some on-trend clothing pieces and just played around. We were working in one of my favourite spaces to shoot in- a run-down old heritage space in Chinatown with lots of natural light.

Rachel is so beautiful inside and out, and so sweet to work with. This is still one of my favourite shoots to date. Model tests are easily my favourite type of shoot as they can be a fun merging of portrait and fashion photography.

Hair and makeup were done by my lovely friend Hollie of Prive Beauty Lounge.
