This is a shot of my beautiful bestie in the back field at the farm we grew up on. This field is sitting in the perfect spot to get the most beautiful golden light in the evenings. Particularly in the summer, when the plants all dried up in the semi-desert heat their little seed pods catch the light just-so and make the most amazing bokeh. I took many clients up here for photo shoots because I knew exactly what the light would be doing.
This shot is one of my favourites of her, particularly because it was taken at the farm, which was sold last year. All of us, including her brother, and mine (@somebuttstuff) have really great memories of this place.
It's where I learned to shoot! She was an aspiring model at the same time as when I first picked up a camera. And so it began. :)
