Hi everyone! I haven't been on Steemit much lately. I think I have a case of the dreaded Steemit Burnout. It could be that the weather is warming up outside and I am doing a lot of painting so not feeling like I want to sit at the computer at all.

Anyway, I'm here now! Doing laundry so I have time to sit and blog. Not entirely sure what to share- don't feel super comfortable sharing my new paintings yet, so here's a doggy shot that I haven't shown you guys yet!

These lil goofs' daddy booked with me back when I had my own studio and I was doing PhoDography. He wanted some slick shots to hang in their house. These little dogs were adorable but had ZERO training. Usually with these sessions, I can handle the dogs myself, or will get the owner to help out a little bit. This shoot was incredibly difficult. The owner hadn't the slightest bit of control over these dogs, and they wouldn't listen to me. I eventually sent the owner away for a bit so I could work with them on my own. I smooshed some cookies onto my seamless backdrop so they would stay in the general area I needed them to (cleaning the backdrop in post processing was a price I was willing to pay) then used a bird call app on my cell phone to get them to look at me for a couple shots at a time.
NIGHTMARE shoot, but the owners ended up spending a couple grand on prints so it worked out for me in the end. WHEW!

How cute are they though?!

There is a huuuuge canvas print of this shot hanging over their mantle
