The answer is NO, or should I say yes? it's like a new one, if I compare the new 750GB SSD to the old HDD.
It's an MacBookPro 15-inch, Mid 2012, 750GB HDD.
But why the SSD-upgrade?
First: The Price... about 300$ SSD vs. over 3000$ newMacBookPro?![Schnappschuss (2017-07-11 22.01.34).png]
So, I was wondering to buy the new MacBook pro with the touchbar, but with just 4 USB-C ports...what 4 times the same connection port but everything I am using so far, won't fit without an adaptor. But I hate adaptors! Sooner or later I'll have to change to a new MacBook pro, but not yet! 馃槒馃槒
There was a solution: an SSD upgrade, it will fasten up my MacBook and I can use everything I used to until now. And even the battery lasts longer 馃憤馃徑
After the upgrade the MacBook Pro is for me like an MacBook Pro PRO, it's so fast, even the reboot is like 10 times faster.
Why Crucial? I found reviews and the price/performance was good enough to test it.
What do you think? Would you do it the same way or rather buying a new MacBook?
