"What Would You Do If You Won $1 Million Tomorrow?"
Hello, amazing #indiaunited friends. I trust your day is going well.
If only I had wings like a dove, that is how the theme sounds to me. Oh, what? If I won a $1 Million Tomorrow?"
Firstly, it would sound like a dream for me. Shocking and doubting Thomas-like moment. I have won a promo package from an FMCG in my country of origin. The day I got a call to come for the collection was a bit shocking for me because I wasn’t aware of the draws. I only submitted the code found under the wrapper of those products after using them. Unexpectedly, I got a call that I won a carton of the product. I couldn’t believe it until I went to the collection centre and picked up the package.
So, if I won $1 Million Tomorrow?", I would slip into a shocking mode and after a few minutes of waking in that reality. I will reach out to some consultants and seek financial advice on how best to invest the money. I would not want to rush into decisions; I will take my time and work with my financial consultant while I also search some financial websites to make some enquiries.
Furthermore, I would like to give back to society, starting from my family, because they say that charity begins at home. I would also reach out to the less fortunate in society, visit some old adult homes and hospitals, pay their bills, and take our local church children and teens on an excursion to three important sites for culture, sightseeing, and technological advancement.
Additionally, I would consider investment plans such as in real estate, cryptocurrencies, and other federal government bonds and treasury bills. However, these investments will also follow prudent feasibility reports and recommendations from a certified financial consultant. This is because there is a need for long-term value generation and sustainability. Investments that will yield a reasonable return on investment (ROI). Not for merry making or an expensive, luxurious lifestyle. Any wrong planning or misuse of the resources can backfire and cause serious financial loss.
Finally, I would consider executing a project for my local church, such as purchasing a minibus for the women's wing, and taking a time out for a treat in the Maldives with my family. At least to show gratitude to God for the win, while I continue to manage the resources prudently. No extravagant lifestyle.
