Hello #qccommunity friends, happy weekend. This week has been buzzing with gaming-themed activity on the Hive blockchain. Interestingly, everybody is following the trend and making the most out of it.

Before, it was believed that playing games is a gendered activity, and society widely attributed it to the male gender. Growing up, whenever my mum saw me playing games with the male counterpart, she would whisk me away and send me on house chores and errands. I used to feel unhappy about it but couldn’t do anything about the situation.

However, that narrative has changed. Gaming is no longer a gender thing; it has become a means of livelihood for everyone, the young and old. I have been on platforms where experts taught people how to earn good money by playing games on apps, including ProGrad and others.

In the arcade section, like Zombie Outbreak, Larry Hunt, and Alive Memory, speed, focus, and concentration are important. If the player loses concentration, the game might go wrong, resulting in a loss.

Furthermore, games on the Hive blockchain are currently attracting people, especially with the structured activities and rewards that come with it. It is an opportunity for people to learn, earn, grow, and improve on the blockchain easily.

Additionally, I think there should be a guide on how to play the games on their websites. The efforts of @savvyplayer and @savvytester in providing an extra tutorial class on how to play some of the games enabled me to play them independently. Such tutorials, information, video tutorials, write-ups, and pictorials will enable quick onboarding of users who may exit after a few unsuccessful attempts. Such tutorials will keep them on the platform until they learn how to play the games well.

In conclusion, different front ends on the Hive blockchain are doing well using games as a practical approach to attract more bloggers; it is a welcome development. Recently, I saw a post about Ecency launching the gaming platform that will present the "HoneyBack" game.

In the end, when users are bored of typing messages and posting, they can switch to the gaming side. This way, the Hive blockchain will continue to buzz, with traffic and activity everywhere. After all, variety, they said, is the spice of life.
