Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) is a global community celebrating live music on Hive. Each week is a new event, encouraging musicians to share songs with an international audience.
Here's a fun song for anyone who wants to let their inner animal out. Hope you can feel the energy in it. I chose this one in honor of this week's Hive Open Mic theme: "High Spirits," chosen my our community's current Spotlight Artist:
This song called "Howling" is a new one that I've been carrying for a few months. Today I'm giving it my first performance on a live music looping station. I'm pleased with the soundscape, which has an ethereal feeling to it, thanks to an electric guitar effects pedal. I also enjoyed giving my voice an echo effect, which feels especially high spirited.
Howling
When the wind is howling
Ow-ow-oWoo
I am in the moonlight
Voicing the white wolf
Ooh-woo-woo
When the wind is humming
Ow-ow-oWoo
I am in the sunlight
Voicing the white horse
Ooh-woo-woo
When the wind is singing
Ow-ow-oWoo
I am in the starlight
Voicing the white swan
Ooh-woo-woo
When the wind is silent
I am in the innermost
Voicing the Holy Ghost
Ooh-woo-woo
