Singing Together for Global Harmony

Cantando Juntos por la Armonía Global

Being the host of Hive Open Mic, I have the pleasure of seeing world peace practiced on a weekly basis. Music brings us together. Music helps us to learn, to grow, and to heal, as a whole planet. Music opens doors, crosses bridges, and shows us new possibilities. In these ways, music helps us to achieve global harmony.

Now that we have such an active community, I feel inspired to try something new. I am excited to announce that our upcoming week #72 will officially be a "Global Harmony" theme, and for this occasion, I invite us all to join our voices (and instruments) in one song. This vision and the song are explained in the following video.

@susamusic sings with tremendous spirit here, offering her voice and body language as a powerful blast of passionate energy. I am so impressed. As I listen, I feel the joy flooding my heart and flowing through my veins. It feels like an energizing wave, or a river, rejuvenating me and helping me to feel light, and drift, as if I am a paper boat, floating. I so enjoy the accompanying voice of the stream, with its own outdoor soundscape, along with the instrumental accompaniment.

I am pleased to acknowledge this musician as this week's Spotlight Artist. As a token of appreciation, I'm happy to invite her to choose our community's Hive Open Mic theme for our upcoming week 74. @susamusic, please choose a theme that will inspire and enliven us as we explore new territory as artists. Just name it in the comments below.
