There may have been a pruning error. Whoops, the secret basil had an extra level of leaves removed. Cut out a few of the leaves that were browning and overall the plants look much healthier. My cilantro has been kind of creeping up on the basils. The cilantro has been largely ignored over the past 86 days but now is finally establishing a presence in the winter garden.
The end result of my second pruning attempt. First time around I cut too close to the next set of leaves and damaged their stems. When I went to take this picture the leaves were just dangling down. Apparently my green thumb needs a bit more practice.
