Gillbert just chilling out in his tank. Little guy is very curious about people. It's quite cool to watch him react when ever someone walks into the room. He usually scoots away when we first approach the tank but is quick to come back and watch whatever we are doing.
Somehow I have a rogue root extending into the aquarium. Not sure if I should remove it or just leave it. I think I will see what happens with it in the next few days before I decide. I think some of the seeds fell through the planters so that is most likely the origin of the root. I will have to pull up the planters and check out what's going on down there tomorrow.
And finally we have the actual garden! One cool thing about this picture is you can see the plants growing towards the light of my hydroponics unit. Especially the radishes are on a total slant towards the light. I'm really impressed by how much growth there has been. the radishes and very thick, I'm a bit disappointed by the density of the wheat grass but it looks like a few of the seeds still need to sprout so I think it can make a comeback.
I'm very excited just thinking about what this garden will look like in another week.
