The Water Garden - Day 12

Well hello there. The name's Gillbert. You swim here often?

DAMN Gillbert is looking sexy today! I took some advice from @omrusman and tried some new tactics for combating my lighting issues. And finally you can see that Gillbert isn't just solid red. I messed up my focus a bit but I still think this is the best picture I've taken of him. I think I can build on this and hopefully do even better in the future.

Didn't get a chance to harvest today and wo did we have a ton of growth. I made a quick side by side so you can see the growth:

That is several inches of growth in a very short amount of time. Absolutely out of control. I love my aquaponics garden. I can a cool fish and a shocking amount of plants. I can't wait to start doing a bit more growing experiments with aquaponics. If I lived somewhere it wasn't winter half the year I might consider making an outdoor aquaponics project. But alas I live in perpetual winter and end up only growing plants inside.
