Gillbert! He sure loves his swimming and doing fish stuff. So yesterday my wife asked me if fish could sleep. I said I thought they did and then did a quick google to confirm. I then learned that fish sleep with their eyes open because they don't have eyelids. Then my wife turned to me and said "But don't their eyes dry out while they are asleep?"....
I really need to find a way to get some better light for my Gillbert pictures. He always looks so red in the photos but he does have a bit of color variation if you get him in good light. But anytime I take a picture it just comes out red, even when the preview looks different. Today I was sure I had a good shot but alas, red Gillbert.
I'm thinking it's harvest time in the water garden. Might be fresh sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. I have my 3 year old niece tomorrow, think she wants some microgreen radishes? She actually might eat them. I've really been impressed by the growth speed of my plants thus far. So cool to see everything sprout up so much in just over a week. It makes my hydroponics garden look slow by comparison.
Good times and a yummy future in store tomorrow!
