Today we go up close and personal with my biggest tomato plant. I really think the little hairs look super cool. I'm not sure if all the little dots and the start of new leaves or potential future tomatoes.

He was in the castle again! I was sure I was going to get another shot of him in there but sneaky Gillbert escaped before I could. Sneaky sneaky Gillbert. Whoops a little bit overboard on the glare, sorry

A mess of roots from the bottom of one of my planters. It's really cool to see how the roots expand. I will have to take a picture of my other garden to help show you how crazy roots can get. Since, I've

This is my favorite plant right now. I just really want to see how everything works out with this tomato. I've never grown a tomato before so I think it will be really cool to have some fresh vegetables

WAAAAAAAAAAAY in the back of my garden, I found mini-plant. The little basil that couldn't. Poor guy just never grew. I should do a little bit of research and see if I can find some ways to promote more

I had a bit of a lazy day and skipped out on all my garden chores. I'm the worst. Maybe tomorrow? Regardless Gillbert is looking majestic today. His eyeball looks a bit funny in this shot, probably just

My scraggly garden. Those grass are going everywhere. It is ugly, might see if I can buy some seeds somewhere in town tomorrow. I don't think I'm busy tomorrow so might be a good day fro some exploring.

I'm super late today! In exchange for my tardiness, I offer one photo of my beautiful tomato plant. It's really been coming to life the last few weeks and I'm excited to see some actual tomatoes start

The start of a basil flower, I always try to pluck them as soon as I notice them. Looks like I missed this one for a few days, side effect of a very busy week. Topped up my water and added nutrients today.

Gillbert hiding by his leaf hammock. he wasn't really using it but he did sit there for a little bit after he finished his food. I like seeing him interact with the stuff in his tank, makes me feel less

Another day and still no basil massacre. Ending up getting busy tonight and didn't have a chance to make the pesto we were planning to. Hopefully tomorrow. Plants are looking good, water was a bit low

Gillbert in the castle! It happened! We've heard the rumor for months but today we finally have proof that Gillbert uses the castle. I never believed it was real but today I know it's true! I came home

That's a big ass basil leaf! I bet that thing wants to get eaten so badly. Soon! I'm hoping my wife and I can harvest and use a bunch of the basil tomorrow. She wants to make a big batch of pesto sauce

Gillbert ready to breach! Well either that or he was swimming up to the surface for a snack. The water looks a little better today so I think the plants are finally starting to catch up on their cleaning

Gillbert's water seems a little bit better today. I need these plants to start doing their job and clean up the damn water! I can't have Gillbert living in dirty water! He's too damn precious. I think

The aftermath of my mini basil massacre. Barely even got the plants off the lights! Worst part was that I even had basil left over after cooking dinner. A closer look at my basil post harvest. Still just

I struck a little bit of fear into my basil plants today and had a mini basil harvest. There is still a boat load of basil left and I'm still planning of having a larger massacre of basil later this week.

All praise the twin towers of basil! Oh yeah that tomato plant is kinda neat too. Had to raise my lights way up again today. I am quickly running out of room. Those lights can only go so high. The basil

Yucky water is yucky. I feel like I'm being mean to Gillbert trying to let the plants clean the water like they are supposed to. The vacation tablet has made a real mess of the water. AHHHH I just don't

My freshly mowed wheatgrass. By the looks of this pictutre, I might need a new lawnmower... The vacation tablet has almost all dissolved and I'm ready for Gillbert's tank to start getting clear again.
