I was so sure my mini-plant was growing nicely again and then I made this side by side against a photo from last week. You can see a smidge of growth but not as much as I thought. I just don't want to

Just wanted to thank everyone who follows my blog for helping me reach this massive milestone! I never thought I'd get to 1000 followers sharing my plants with all of you. It's been almost half a year

I'm sensing a basil massacre in the near future... I keep getting tricked into being busy irl and never end up cooking anything that didn't start out frozen. One day I'll get my life together and make

Up close and personal with Gillbert! What a cute little fishy. The vacation tablet is almost done dissolving and the water is still quite cloudy, I'm hopeful that it will start to clear up over the weekend.

Gillbert is such a baller. Look at how much swagger this little fishy has. The beautiful red with the splashes of blue, so sexy. It's been nice being back around Gillbert. His tank is still a little discolored

It is good to be back with my plants. I added some more nutrients today and my leaves are looking quite nice. I really have an overwhelming abundance of basil right now. I went out to see some family tonight

Garden is overflowing with basil. I think I'm going to have to start forcing people to take fresh basil every time I see them from now on. Had to raise the lights quite a bit today, we are now working

Beautiful Gillbert is back in my life. Oh how I missed him. He was just hyper to see me and I gave him a little treat even though he still has food for a few days still in his tank. I just can't say no

So I'm currently out of town and decided to set up a tablet that would upload me a picture every few hours just so I could check on my plants and Gillbert. The above picture was the last picture I received

Last good look at the winter garden for a few days. I am out of town for the weekend and I'm interested to see what kind of growth we see over the next few days. I will try to do some comparison pictures

My plants before I left for the weekend. I'm out of town now and have setup a camera to take a picture every few hours but the quality is horrible so I might just not post until I get back home and instead

The secret basil, such a huge plant now. The Great Basil, reigning king of the garden. Has ruled in peaceful times since the downfall of MEGAPLANT. Mini-plant, the tiniest plant of them all. Pepper, so

I trimmed down my second planter today. Trying to get caught up on my garden before the weekend because I won't be around to give my plants any love. That's okay though because they can grow all weekend

Second planter is close to harvest. I'll be out of town for the weekend so I need to make sure that I have that harvested before I go. Maybe a smoothie on my way to the airport? I'm gonna go to a pet store

My little pepper. It sure hasn't been growing much. The plant looks super healthy but hasn't really grown much. Meanwhile... Mini-plant is mounting a comeback! Feels like mini-plant has been in the garden

My main tomato is really surging upwards! It really towers over my other vegetables now. It still has a long ways before it catches up to the basil but it is finally making a dent. Haven't used any basil

Still hard to tell if I'm getting any regrowth but the pants look much better this time around. I think I let the plants grow way too long time around and was hoping to not make the same mistake again.

Gillbert swimming around his leaf hammock waiting for some treats. I just can't deny him, he's too darn cute. I've been playing around with him following my finger lately and it's really cool how he follows

My beautiful garden. It's looking very nice. I added a bunch of water but think I will top it off again and add nutrients tomorrow. I'm going to be out of town for a few days over the weekend so I need

Harvested my first round of wheatgrass and made myself a delicious smoothie when I got to work this morning. I used my wheatgrass plus some frozen fruit. The frozen fruit was a mix of strawberries, peaches,
